Top Speed of Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport
The Bugatti Chiron lineup is expanding, with the recent introduction of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport. With its agile and responsive handling, powerful engine, quick acceleration, and state-of-the-art technologies, the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport provides a thrilling driving experience.
The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport delivers an electronically limited top speed of 218 mph. This is actually slower than the standard Bugatti Chiron model, which has a top speed of 261 mph. The reasoning behind this is that Bugatti wanted to make a version of the Chiron that maximizes handling and cornering performance. This makes the Chiron Pur Sport an excellent choice for touring on winding country roads.
Special Modifications for the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport
The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is powered by the 8.0-liter Quad-Turbo W16 engine, which cranks out a mighty 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 lb-ft of torque. Bugatti made numerous enhancements for the engine, with improved elasticity and a quicker throttle response. The W16 engine is mated to a quick-shifting 7-speed automatic transmission. Bugatti also made modifications to the transmission, with a shorter gear ratio. The result of this is quicker acceleration, with a 60 – 120 kph acceleration time in 6th gear that’s two seconds quicker than the standard Chiron model.
