Aston Martin DB5 – Goldfinger – 1964 

The third installment in the James Bond 007 film franchise – Goldfinger – was an instant classic and starred Sean Connery and the Silver Birch Aston Martin DB5. Aston Martin DB5 entries were produced from 1963 to 1965 and featured a revolutionary 282-horsepower 4.0-liter straight-six engine with a top speed of 177 mph.

Aston Martin DB5 – Thunderball – 1965  

When Thunderball released and James Bond returned to the silver screen, the signature Aston Martin DB5 returned as well. In this edition of James Bond 007, the Aston Martin DB5 added even more excitement to the film with the addition of a rear-mounted water cannon to foil pursuers and a jetpack stored in the trunk.

Aston Martin DBS – On Her Majesty’s Secret Service – 1969 

George Lazenby starred in the film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and when he was in hot pursuit of villains, the Aston Martin DBS provided the horsepower. The Aston Martin DBS was produced from 1967 to 1973 and came in two variants – DBS and DBS V8. Aston Martin DBS V8 models replaced the 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine with a 320-horsepower 5.3-liter V-8 engine.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage – The Living Daylights – 1987 

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a world-class performer on the track – an elite level of performance that carried over to the silver screen in The Living Daylights, which starred Timothy Dalton as Agent 007. Moviegoers got to see the Aston Martin Vantage in Volante and Convertible variants in the film with a 5.3-liter V-8 engine, outriggers and tire spikes.

Aston Martin DB5 – Goldeneye – 1995 

The classic Aston Martin DB5 made a return to the James Bond arsenal in 1995 when Pierce Brosnan made his debut as 007 in Goldeneye. With an exciting Aston Martin DB5 vs Ferrari F355 chase scene in the film, the Aston Martin DB5 was a star of the film that many moviegoers will not forget. Armed with its signature Aston Martin style, the Aston Martin DB5 in Goldeneye set the bar high for the rest of the action-packed film.

Aston Martin V12 Vanquish – Die Another Day – 2002 

Agent 007 and Aston Martin joined forces again in 2002 with the release of Die Another Day. In this edition of the James Bond franchise, Pierce Brosnan drove the sleek, stylish and performance-tuned Aston Martin V12 Vanquish that was produced from 2001 to 2007. With a 460-horsepower 5.9-liter V12, a cloaking device, tire spikes and rockets, the Aston Martin Vanquish dominated the screen.

Aston Martin DBS and Aston Martin DB5 – Casino Royale – 2006  

Casino Royale was the first James Bond film to feature two different Aston Martin models – an all-new Aston Martin DBS and a classic Aston Martin DB5 – and was the first appearance of Daniel Craig as 007. The Aston Martin DBS featured in the film was produced from 2007 to 2012 with a 510-horsepower 5.9-liter V12 engine that would sprint from zero to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds.

Aston Martin DBS – Quantum of Solace – 2008 

In 2008, the Aston Martin DBS exploded onto the silver screen in Quantum of Solace with an opening car chase that had many viewers on the edge of their seats. With its sleek profile, powerful V12 engine and Daniel Craig behind the wheel, the Aston Martin DBS left a memorable impression on fans of the Aston Martin brand and the Bond franchise.

A true automotive icon, the Aston Martin DB5 returned to the silver screen in 2012 in the James Bond film Skyfall. Aston Martin DB10 and Aston Martin DB5 – Spectre – 2015 

Developed and built for the film by the Aston Martin design team, the Aston Martin DB10 driven by James Bond in Spectre was one of a kind. Armed with a bold coupe platform, a rear-facing flamethrower, an ejector seat and more, the Aston Martin DB10 is a fan favorite. Following an epic car chase, the Aston Martin DB10 is replaced by the Aston Martin DB5.
