It has the backing of a 4-years/unlimited-miles basic warranty, along with a 4-years/unlimited-miles free scheduled maintenance plan. The S-Class has a 4-years/50,000-miles basic warranty. A free scheduled maintenance plan is not offered for the S-Class.

On the performance front, the Ghost easily dominates the S-Class. Its base-level 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 engine doles out 563 horsepower and 605 lb-ft of torque, while the enhanced 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 engine in the Ghost Black Badge model cranks out 603 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque. The base-level 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine in the S-Class produces 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, while the available 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine generates 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. 

For better handling and braking capabilities, the Ghost offers larger wheels than the S-Class, with standard 19-inch and available 21-inch versions. The S-Class offers standard 18-inch wheels and available 20-inch wheels.
